We would like to welcome Officer Echel to the Creve Coeur Police Department. Officer Echel graduated from Culver-Stockton College and transferred to us from the NYPD (Yes, that NYPD). Even though Officer Echel comes from a larger department, he and all new officer hires, will have to demonstrate proficiency with the department's resources and policies before being allowed to patrol Creve Coeur. All officer hires are also assigned a veteran Field Training Officer (FTO) who will help introduce new officers the great residents and businesses within the city.

A-Squad is always willing to help out even if it means putting together a tree at Central Bank of St. Louis in Creve Coeur! Sgt. Schultz was working an "Off-Duty Detail" which is where, with the approval of the Chief of Police, an officer can be hired to provide security at a specific location. The officer is paid directly and taxpayer funds are not used because an officer must be off duty with The City of Creve Coeur to be hired.
