The first two photos are from our church's last Ground-Breaking Ceremony in 1998, and the rest are from our ceremony last Sunday! How faithful the Lord has been to provide for His church for so long. We are so excited to step into this new venture as a church family!

As we go through our week reflecting on the first chapter of Ecclesiastes, we are reminded that what God is doing in our lives and in the world around us is regularly unclear. In fact, in our suffering God’s purposes are frequently obscured and at times we are unable to understand what He is doing. Ecclesiastes reminds us over and over again that though meaning is often elusive, that doesn’t mean that our lives are meaningless. We can’t walk by sight, so instead we walk by faith--faith in the One who is the source of all meaning, who has every hair on our head numbered, and who sent his son to live and die in our place and who raised him to new life in order to triumph over sin and death and to undo the futility that we see all around us.

What does wisdom look like when your life seems like it's going nowhere? Our series on Ecclesiastes helps us feel like we're not alone, that our life has meaning despite the seeming "vanity" of it all.

Ground-Breaking Ceremony January 31, 2021

As we continue our series on Wisdom let us remember how freely it is available to us! God promises, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." (James 3:17)

We're excited to celebrate the ground-breaking of our Flourish project! Please join us this Sunday, January 31 at 12:15pm. We will be filming a Livestream here on our Facebook page at the time of the event, so if you cannot be there in person there is still a way to participate!

Submissions Needed for our Virtual Thanksgiving Service Send in by Monday, November 23 Join the CPC community by sharing Thanksgiving greetings via video! Take a sideways (horizontal, NOT up and down) video of you and/or your family members sharing a 20-second segment of what you are thankful for.
