You’ve been reminded...have you filled out your 2020 Census yet? It’s important and is conducted by an independent agency. Go to www.2020census.gov.

Covenant Presbyterian Church KC 21.07.2020

Have you completed your 2020 Census? If you don’t have your paper form go online and complete there. The census determines how federal dollars are spent and how we are each represented. Do it!! Please.

Greetings, From Covenant Presbyterian Church....We would like to tell you about an opportunity that we would like to share with you. In these crazy days, testing for the coronavirus seems to be a big deal...How many tests are there? Where are they? Who gets them? It just so happens that the parking lot at Covenant is going to be used as a mobile testing site for the coronavirus, next Wednesday (7-15) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The testing is being done for a research study by K...U Med Center and Heart to Heart International. What is involved? This is a nasal swab test. Those being tested do NOT have to have symptoms. The testing is available to anyone in the community, but to be tested you MUST complete an online survey. (I just did it, and it takes about 15 minutes to complete.) Participants MUST give permission to the research team to have access to the test results. The study survey was originally set up for first responders, so some of the questions might seem a little wonky. But I repeat, this study is open to any member of the public. Some of the registration questions ask about your employer, however, in compliance with HPPA rules, the results of your test will NOT be shared with your employer. If you are interested in signing up for the testing, simply go to https://redcap.kumc.edu/surveys/?s=DAXP7D9LEK. There must be at least 50 people pre-registered for Covenant to be used as a site. Anything fewer, just isn't worth the researchers' time. Register by Sunday night, but you can register in person on Wednesday. If you have questions you can call the Covenant church office from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays.
