Exhibitors- federal officials are fixing to make an example out of somebody crossing state lines without health papers. Don't let it be you. If you're coming fr...om WY, UT, CO, or NE you definitely need a permit to enter. Your vet will get it when he writes your health papers. If you're from TX or NM, you might possibly need a permit because of recent vesicular stomatitis cases. I'll check on TX and NM tomorrow and post in comments. Permits can be obtained 7:30-5:00 CT so plan your appointments accordingly. After hours permit requests will be returned the next business day. See you this weekend! STRUTT THE RUTT!!

Sheep, Dairy goat and Meat goat exhibitors, it's time for health papers for the county fairs. I've seen several of you already for the earlier local shows, but if you have others going or these next shows will be your first this summer, I will be checking animals and writing health papers here Tuesday afternoon July 2 from 2:00-6:00.

Fairs are right around the corner. Sheep and goat exhibitors will need health papers for all fairs including county. I will be available to do health papers Friday afternoon June 29 from 1:30 to 6:30 at my place. Come rain or shine. Bring registration papers if you have them and your scrapie number. I have tags if you need them. If you don't have a scrapie number yet or don't know what it is, please come by 3:00 so we can call and get it. Thank you. Hope to see many of you the 29th.
