Making chicken noodle soup is a snap when you start with smoked chicken from Henderson Meats! 2 cups smoked chicken 3 chopped carrots 4 chopped celery... 2 small diced white onions 3 tablespoons of olive oil or butter 2 teaspoons minced garlic 6 sprigs fresh parsley 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon coarse salt 1 teaspoon dried thyme 2 bay leaves Chicken broth to cover 2 cups egg noodles Chop your carrots, celery, and diced onion. Put a stock pot on your range over medium high heat with olive oil or butter and once the butter is melted or the oil is warmed, add your carrots, celery, and onion and cook for 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients to the pot: diced/shredded smoked chicken, garlic, parsley, black pepper, salt, thyme, bay leaves, chicken broth and your egg noodles. Once the soup mix comes to a boil, turn your range back from medium high to low heat and let the chicken noodle soup mix simmer for 30 minutes to an hour before serving. Recipe courtesy BigOven

Ham & Potato Soup 7 cups potatoes, diced 1 medium onion diced 1 large carrot, chopped 2-3 cups ham, diced... 2 teaspoons parsley 1 teaspoon thyme leaves 5 cups Chicken Broth 1 cup 2% milk 1/2 cup sour cream Pepper to taste Add diced potatoes, onion, carrot, ham, thyme, parsley, pepper & broth to a crock pot. Cook on low 7 hours, or high 3 hours. Remove 2-3 cups of the potatoes/carrots and mash, then return the mashed mixture to the crock pot. Add milk and sour cream.
