It's so hot we needed ice cream to cool down! Stopped in at Kris and Kate's Ice Cream Treats in St Joseph since they have Frog sized cones! A shout out to our friend Brie in Beatrice, NE for joining us for lunch while we were there.
We have Windy, Nina, and Dodger in our fleet. They are members of the Cool Frog Family and are treated well. 330,000 miles on their collective odometers.
4 years ago today we started the Cool Frog dream by buying our first van. This van is no longer part of our fleet but we have found memories of trying to fit so much in a small place. We are now at 3 trucks and will start looking for drivers in the next few weeks! Time flies!
We hopped up to Chicago today. Picking up a Chicagoan icon before heading back to our PAD. Good thing there is a walk in cooler on our truck! Hope it's as good as everyone says.
Completed logo transfers. This is the best looking truck in our fleet. Might add a "contact us: [email protected]" We have them printed already. Bottom next to the back on each side?
Taking advantage of the sunshine and warmer temps to FINALLY get logos on the new truck. 15,000 miles with magnets on the door, she might look professional now!
Cool Frog does not suggest eating a bumblebee. They have pointy things that make your tongue fat. We wanted to ask this space traveler for sage advice. His voice box is still on the fritz...
If you find our 'cousin' hiding in this picture you will know where we were yesterday.
In this time of uncertainty we are practicing social distancing as requested by our government. At the same time, we are a transportation company equipped to handle emergency deliveries. We are actively looking for new means to serve the public during this time. From all of us, be safe and enjoy your families!
I stop for gas at truck stops most of the time. They are typically cleaner and have larger restrooms. I have had to wait for urinals/stalls on occasion. NEVER a sink. I had to wait in line to wash my hands! Something is making truck drivers wash their hands?! I will not add to the hype but I'll take the cleaner route through the truck stops!!!
On our way to Wichita today a friendly KS Trooper gave us a random roadside inspection. We have a pretty green sticker in our window to say we passed with no issues.
Construction barrels are coming out of hibernation! They seem to have multiplied and are spreading. Interstates are posting warnings of their arrival and the impact on travel is expected to be severe. Department of Transportation will be stationing "workers" everyplace the barrels decide to stand. Slow down and enjoy traveling this year!
Today is Leap Day! Also known as Fried Frog Leg Day... We here at Cool Frog are fond of our good looking legs. Dont touch! Haha Whatever you do today, leap into it with joy.
