URGENT! With little more than 24 hours left to go in our fundraising efforts, a new offer has come forward for a matching donation of $500 to close out 2020! 20...20 was a hard year for everyone, but it wasn't all bad because choral arts brought us together and we continued to create something beautiful. We're certainly looking forward to making more music together in 2021. If you are able, please make a donation now so we can take advantage of this generous matching offer. You can support us in that effort by donating to CAAM today: https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=KBY3ZZCDHD5HS See more

STOP! Take a breath. Go look at local artist Kate Gray's show. You can do it right here from your phone or computer. Looking at art decreases stress levels. Find a piece in her show that feels like your December. Take another breath. Continue with your day.

Donate: https://www.gofundme.com/f/medical-fund-to-help-elise-mosba MCB company dancer Elise Mosbacher ruptured her Achilles tendon in early October. The surge...ry to repair the injury cost more than $10,000 which doesn't even include the months of physical therapy that will be required for Elise to gain back her strength to return to dancing professionally. Because of COVID, Missouri Contemporary Ballet’s fall season had been canceled therefore workers comp was not even an option for Elise. All of her medical bills will be paid for out of pocket. Help us support Elise through this difficult time. Help us give back to the woman who gives so much to our community! Thanks to all of Elise's cat rescue friends for helping to organize this fundraiser! We would also like to thank those who helped with photos including Jeff Bassinson and Shyvision Photography. #gofundme #columbiamo #missouricontemporaryballet #helpelisemosbacher See more

There is no one in the world like you, and I like you just the way you are. -Mister Rogers Shout out to all the learners today, you're doing GREAT! --Amazing artwork by Shepard's 19-20 K-5th graders!--

We are so happy to share with you the latest traffic box art! Last year's K-5th graders from Shepard Elem. and Art Specialist Roberta McLaren BROUGHT IT on this design. All the students were given a paper doll template and asked to draw themselves, considering the ways they are unique and similar. The resulting piece now lives at the corner of Garth & Broadway. We hope this art brings you joy today and for years to come!
