Community Legal Access has opened its doors to the public on July 25, 2017. We are a nonprofit law firm focused on providing reduced-rate legal services to Springfield and the surrounding communities in southwest Missouri. While everyone deserves legal representation and advice when they need it, few can afford it, and even fewer qualify for free legal services. We aim to bridge this legal access gap by providing high-quality legal representation based on what our clients can... afford. Because we do not rely on donations or grants, Community Legal Access does have to charge for its services. Our charges, however, are set on a sliding scale based on the income, expenses, and family size of each client. Our main practice areas include Immigration, Wages and Benefits, Family Law, Landlord/Tenant, Accessibility, and Wills and Trusts. We also offer services that help walk individuals through completing and filing forms and the pro se (representing yourself) process. Our staff can provide you with services in English and Spanish.
