We are so excited to announce an expansion at Command Family Medicine with Command Relief! Up until now, services were only provided to members, now anyone can take advantage of prolotherapy. We started using prolotherapy injections about 8 months ago to help our patients with a wide range of acute and chronic pain. We were so blown away by the results, that we wanted to be able to share with everyone in the Springfield area! Like most patients with chronic pain, we were not ...satisfied with just managing pain. When we discovered prolotherapy and that it actually got to the root cause of pain, causing healing and RELIEF, we knew we had to share it with as many people as possible. Training for prolotherapy can be done through multiple different venues, but I am proud to have recieved my training from the Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation (www.hhpfoundation.org). It was formed in 1969 by Dr. Hemwall. Dr. Hackett was one of the first physicians to perform prolotherapy back in the 1930s. The HHP Foundation believes so strongly in prolotherapy that they not only teach it, but they will be taking their 50th trip to Honduras next year. There they treat thousands of people with chronic pain. This speaks to the quality of the organization but also the effectiveness of prolotherapy.
