Help us fund-Raise The Roof of the market pavilion! While a third of the roof is completed, we still have 58 more stalls to cover! CFM is open rain or shine, and we want to protect our vendors, their products and our customers year-round! We need to raise $240,000 by June 1st to start construction over the winter of 2021/22. Head over to buildthistown.org to donate!
Keep ya chedda in the community when you shop with CFM year-round! Instead of supporting large corporations based in other cities, states or countries, food from CFM travels through fewer hands so more of the money goes to the people growing and producing it. Shop with us every Saturday, 9am-12pm, in the heated MU Health Care Pavilion (at COMO Ag Park, 1769 W. Ash St.). #columbiafarmersmarket #localeconomy #supportyourcommunity #midmissouri #columbiamo #eatlocal #supportyourlocalfarmer

Meet Me At The Farmers Market: 12.19.20 - Thank you for your continued support, Columbia. 2020 marked our 40th year of being open. Through it all, our amazing customers have been there...whether it be a rainy day, a temporary move, or a pandemic. We know this year has had its challenges, and definitely wasn't the 40th anniversary celebration we were hoping for, but we managed to continue to offer our customers what is at the heart of CFM - a unique space where rural meets.... https://mailchi.mp/168a9d2e6b9f/11417-2447750

CFM ONLINE MARKET! We've been busy behind the scenes the last month, and can't keep quiet any longer! Starting in the next couple of weeks, we will be launching a centralized online marketplace for customers to shop with their favorite winter market vendors! In essence, we're bringing a version of the curbside pickup program back, just BETTER! How does it work? CFM vendors that choose to participate will load their available products onto the online market. Tuesdays (11am) ...through Thursdays (6pm) customers will be able to shop at a centralized online site. Orders will be available for pick up from the new One-Room Schoolhouse (right next to the market) on Saturday mornings! (This will be a walk-up pick-up, with very minimal contact. CFM staff will have aggregated all of your orders and hand you the items through the window of the Schoolhouse.) As soon as the site is ready for shopping, we'll share the link. CFM will also continue to be open to the public. Why are we offering this? Starting November 7, our Winter Market starts, which means shorter market hours, open from 9am-12pm. We shorten the hours because of colder winter weather and precipitation, later sunrises, and to allow for safer travel conditions for our vendors and customers. As we move into winter, many of our customers' favorite products decrease in quantities, but remain in high demand. We all love fresh veggies in the dead of winter! Taking all of this into consideration, and to offer all CFM customers a fair and equal shopping experience, starting November 7 we will be ending our At-Risk Shopping hour. Additionally, as soon as the temperatures look like they will drop below freezing on a Saturday morning, we will be dropping the vinyl walls for the season. We know that removing the At-Risk shopping period and enclosing the market may make some customers feel less safe shopping in-person, thus the launch of the Online Market! Keep an eye out for posts about the official launch of the new CFM ONLINE MARKET!
Our CFM vendors feed Mid-Missouri with pride. At every market, for families that have children 19 or under, seniors or disabled, Access to Healthy Food matches up to $35 in SNAP or WIC benefits. CFM, along with our partner Sustainable Farms & Communities, understands it's more important than ever to provide access to fresh, healthy and local food. To participate in and receive matching benefits through the Access to Healthy Food program, please stop by the Oasis booth at Colu...mbia Farmers Market with your EBT card or WIC packet and complete the application form. The Oasis booth is located in the center of the market, under the MU Health Care Pavilion. #CFMMilestoneMoments: In 2014, CFM held the first Farm to Table fundraiser dinner at Blue Bell Farm raising $4,250 for the market. This would become an annual dinner and important fundraiser to keep Columbia’s favorite market going, now raising over $10,000 each year. #thanksforrootingforus #cfm40thanniversary #freshestfor40 #bringhealthyhome #onlyCFM #columbiafarmersmarket
