We had a wonderful discussion led by a guest panel of experts from Missouri River Relief, Missouri River Bird Observatory, and Show-Me Stormwater Management. The experts led a Zoom webinar with a virtual field trip and a Q&A. I certainly learned a lot, and I really loved hearing all the memories associated with the Missouri River.

Happy World Wildlife Day! This year's theme for UN's World Wildlife Day is "Forests and Livelihoods". So Brandon (our own outdoors expert) gave a lecture on Missouri forests, animals, hunting, and conservation. We had lots of questions and shared some great stories. We competed to identify as many animal tracks as we could. Congratulations to Gib and Geri for being the best trackers! And the weather cooperated beautifully today. We roasted s'mores, bird watched, and cooked up some delicious dirt 'n worms out in our garden!

Mega Jenga is easily the most suspenseful game that we play! Luckily we all managed to escape every time the tower fell!

Today was this wonderful lady’s 21st birthday! We celebrated at lunch time and they had birthday cake at supper time. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ILENE!!
