Colony Baptist Church Family, I have a blank spot in my life when we don't have prayer meeting on Wednesday as today. After being on the phone for hours today, I have a full list of people and things to pray over and watch God answer. There are a many folks in our community and beyond with all kinds of sickness on this very day. Some have extreme back pain, others sinus troubles, hospitalizations, neumonia, common colds, cancer, and many others. Emotional problems also come...; fear, anger, depression, stress, loneliness, deaths, and missing loved ones. Then there are a list of social issues; our government, family problems, foreign affairs, winter weather patterns, wars and rumors of wars, men's hearts failing for fear, failing justice system and more. However, as I read Matthew 24 and Luke 21, I am amazed that I am also watching God's eternal plan coming to pass before my very eyes in my lifetime. Then among the warnings of the events to come, Jesus gives us as statement that is to encourage us in such times. Luke 21:27-28 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, lift up your heads ; for your redemption draweth nigh. As I pray over Colony Baptist Church this night, I am looking up! May God bless and keep you, Bro. Wayne

UPDATE: I am safe for now and don’t have shave my head. However, I’ll make the challenge another time. Ok Colony Baptist family and friends, here is your last chance. Sunday... December 27, 2020 10:40am worship If we have at least 51 in attendance, I (Bro. Wayne) will shave my head smooth on New Year’s Day. Seats have appropriate spacing, masks are available, and sanitation supplies are handy at the entrance. There is also seating down stairs with audio speakers for listening to the service if you prefer even less contact. Distancing and minimal contact is recommended. However, if the Holy Ghost tells you to make contact, then obey the Lord, and expect His protection. Hebrews 10:25 says; Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much more, as we see the day approaching.
