Merry Christmas Eve to you all !! Hope everyone enjoys their holiday festivities today! We are going to have dinner with family this evening and then home so the kids can partake in our yearly Christmas Eve tradition... opening new pjs , making cookies, sipping hot cocoa, setting cookies out for santa, throwing reindeer food out in the yard and watching Christmas movies !! What are your family Christmas Eve traditions?! Ps. Yes these are my crazy kiddos dressed up as some of our favorite characters from my all time favorite movie ever !

Today is my last day for sessions and emails etc. I will be on vacation Wednesday Dec 23rd through December 28th. I’m all caught up on editing so if you haven’t sent your email please do so today ! There is nothing more magical than the best Santa ever coming to visit you at home , cozy pjs, telling him all about Trex and flying planes, telling secrets, teaching him about boogers, high fives, beard tugs, and hugs ! ... and of course having it all captured ! I can't wait to do these next year and hopefully welcome you all to join Santa and I for some Christmas magic !

Did you all know my studio is located right in the heart of Hallmark... I mean Caledonia. Seriously I feel like I am in a hallmark movie when I look outside my studio window ! So little advice , wear a coat when you spend several days all day shooting outside. You may end up in a allergy fit that lands you in bed watching Christmas vacation on repeat while surviving on grape sodas and Benadryl, trying to catch up on 51 mini session edits and santa pics and globes. I’ll check back in on emails tonight. But for now this is my announcement of my current status Thank goodness I have a job that allows me to edit in bed watching my favorite movie and see all these cute faces to keep me going .

I think I’m loving the snow more than the lights Took sometime to capture my own girls for some sister pj pics. These girls help me so much behind the scenes and sacrifice a lot of mom time during this busy season and never complain ... So they needed showed some love !

So yesterday started the excitement of Christmas minis my favorite !!!! Like I love all my sessions but LOVE Christmas time the most!! Then I spent the entire day focusing on editing and sneak peaks.... normally Sat-Tues I stay off the computer but I feel I have missed out on sharing far too many sneak peaks this fall season :( I promise I will catch up on email tonight and tomorrow !

It’s baby day for one of my favorite little families Super excited to be there to capture this blessing being brought into the world! Christmas mini update !!! Dates are set for November 23rd - December 23rd. There will be a white/neutral super cute rustic indoor theme that goes perfectly with casual, dressy, or even your pjs ! Then outside will be a cute set up with crates , trees, a sled and more. I’m going today to get the trees as they had to be real and then sets will be released along with booking details and I will open the booking for both these options. Keep in mind they will go fast , especially my weekend and my outdoor slots. Also I understand that it is covid season so I will be offering some other options for Santa photos and Christmas photos so those who can’t get out can have something for their cards or to gift their families which I will be sharing shortly after this post !

Different from what I normally do and was a bit worried I couldn't be creative enough to pull this off... but I love how we both worked together to bring her vision to life!

My girl loves her fashion and loves modeling for the camera.. she picks her own outfits , location most the time, and poses herself.....can you tell who is stuck to moms side most days lol. Little fun on a rainy evening yesterday.

Also Keep in mind I am virtual schooling two kids and trying to juggle work so most my days will be spent with the kids and evenings are my family time so work is after their bedtime.
