Our Program this morning was presented by Joe Harris, owner of Blindspot Outdoors, whose program was on transitioning 'farmland' to 'wetland' and increasing interest in the outdoors focusing on wildlife habitat, duck lakes and other projects he has been working on in the area.
Our own Gene Henry gave the program today (thanks to Marilyn) about the history, care and proper usage of our US Flag. Gene enlisted the Windsor crew for a flag folding demo. Pictured are President Thomas Gregg and Gene. Folding the flag are Tony and Barry Bullock.
We received an update on vaccination process for Clinton and Henry county from Peggy Bowles, administrator of Henry County health center.

Today's program was given by Andy Ford of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Henry County. In a throw back to his teaching days we were quizzed on how well we remembered what we had been told in the past. Pictured at left is President Tom Gregg and on the right is Andy Ford.
Monday, we had an opportunity to honor our 2019-20 Citizen of the Year. Immediate Past President Scott Humphreys presented Clinton school district superintendent Destry Brown with this tremendous award. Destry has impacted our community in great ways as we have dealt with the affects of COVID 19. We appreciate all you do Destry!

Our morning program was presented by Clinton Fire Department Assistant Chief Matt Willings and Chris Reno Fire Safety Public Liaison... October is Fire Safety Awareness month and we are supporters of their efforts to increase fire safety in our community. Matt shared stats with us on fire causes and other related topics and how we can be more safe with regard to fire risks... PS: Check your smoke detectors regularly! Thanks, guys, great program!
