Siberian clay, Egyptian pink clay and indigo powder ready to be morphed into soap Natural is beautiful.
Today I made one of my favs and I thought I'd share in case you want to try! It's a solid exfoliating lotion bar you use in the bath/shower and rinse off, leaving smooth, moisturized skin. 1. Melt down equal parts Shea and cocoa butters. After melted, add a splash of castor (or any liquid oil) to help it glide nicely. 2. Add exfoliants. I use ground oats, ground organic brown rice and pumice powder. 3. Mix the dry into the wet. You want to use about equal parts of exfoliants ...to butters so you have a thick mixture. Add a few drops of essential oil if you like. Sometimes I keep it bare, but today, I used Lavender Bulgarian. 4. Allow to cool a little and pour into molds. If you pour while it's too hot, the exfoliants will settle. 5. Cool in the freezer until they are solid enough to pop out. Store unused bars in the freezer. Keep out of the water stream in the tub or shower. 6. To use: after washing, step out of the water and rub a bar all over, giving a good scrub. Rinse well, blot off and enjoy smooth skin See more

Here's something to get you in the mood for spring! Scented with lemongrass, tea tree and spearmint essential oils with calendula blossoms and a streak of gold mica. Wrapped and ready! #sofreshandsoclean
Did you miss out on the Winter Brew soap I did a couple months back? I loved it! I made the same soap with the following changes: pink grapefruit beer instead of winter ale and pink grapefruit essential oil instead of orange. The other essential oils are patchouli and fir needle. It's wrapped and ready!
Up next, the "spa bar". If I ever take the time to walk into a spa, this is how I would imagine it would smell! Essential oils of lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus and litsea. Colored with sea clay and zinc and a sprinkle of lavender buds on top. I will only have 7 available.
It's getting "springy" up in here. #sofreshandsoclean
Today was laundry butter making day! A bit of a process, but worth it. It's kind of ironic that the soap I make to shred and melt back down turns out so perfect. This is coconut oil soap formulated to be much more cleansing than body soap, shredded down and melted in water, then add borax and washing soda. It'll cool into a hard gel-like substance before I whip it and add lemongrass and tea tree essential oils. It's just as amazing for cleaning tubs and sinks as it is our dungarees! Anyone else make their own laundry soap?
Wrapping some rosemary-mint bars today and it looks like I have one that wasn't claimed yet. Any takers?
I don't like to use a lot of color in bath bombs, but tonight I'm prepping for an experiment. These tiny little bombs are the size of a melon baller. I created them to fizz twice as fast as my normal recipe. I will insert a couple inside my normal bombs. They will hopefully be propelled by the extra fizz, spin and create a swirl in the water. Wish me luck!
I'm head over heels for my new mold made by my hubby! I can make almost twice as many bars at once! Tonight I'm cutting and stamping the long awaited "hellllo lover" bars and just in time to be ready for V-Day
A few minutes ago, I walked in the door from work to find my hubby grabbing for a bar of happy hippy on my curing rack. I started to go into panic mode just as he pulled out a tape measure, measured the soap and put it right back. A few minutes later I hear his saw buzzing. Turns out, he was just making me a new mold because he knows I want to be able to make more soap. I think he's a keeper
I have about half a dozen of these lovelies that aren't pre-sold. These salt bars are made with Himalayan sea salt, Australian red clay and EOs of spearmint, pink grapefruit, tea tree and litsea. This salt is a little more abrasive than my normal salt bars, which my hubby really likes, but I prefer to lather it up in my hands or on a washcloth rather than straight on the skin. The lather is very nice on this one and smells quite fresh!
