A lot of you visiting the page may be aware that there is a photo circulating with some projections on the side of our building. It seems that there was a march/demonstration in the last few days and the side of that building was used as a place for their projections, which we’ve just been made aware of. Recognizing the ongoing and increased uncertainty that Coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing around the world, our highest priority is the health and well being of our guests and associates/employees. With that in mind we wanted to update you on the actions we have taken in response to the outbreak. CANCELLATION POLICY & BOOKING FLEXIBILITY: ... We understand flexibility is key during uncertain times and that’s why we’re adjusting our cancellation policies. For reservations with stay dates through April 30, 2020, we are waiving cancellation fees for existing and new individual reservations. In this very fluid environment, we continue to monitor the situation and will revisit this policy as needed. For bookings made through a travel agent or online booking platform (i.e., Booking.com, Expedia, etc.), please contact them directly. We have advised these companies of our cancellation policy and you should refer to their terms and conditions. DURING YOUR STAY: Rest assured our standard cleaning routines are very thorough; however, during this time, we have increased our efforts throughout the hotel. These actions include, but are not limited to, cleaning and disinfecting hard surfaces and frequently touched items in guest rooms and throughout the public spaces of the hotel. We are ensuring our associates have disposable wipes with them at all times to clean commonly used surfaces like elevator buttons. It’s also important to note that our cleaning materials and supplies meet or exceed industry standards. The focus on cleanliness and sanitation is imperative to our daily operation and has always been a top priority for our property. These additional measures will work to help ensure we continue to provide a safe environment for our guests. TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF HOTEL CONCESSIONS FOR GUESTS: Due to the unprecedented implications COVID-19 has had on the hospitality industry, Clayton Plaza Hotel has made the decision to temporarily suspend airport runs, full breakfast buffet in our restaurant (small limited breakfast is available as a grab and go); however, we will reassess each week and make the best decision based on business demands.
