What a great day! We got to cut the ribbon at the new Dog Park at Smithville Lake! This muchanticipated amenity has been made possible through partnerships wi...th Smithville, Missouri, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Smithville Park Advisory Board, the Clay County Park Advisory Board and a group of dedicated citizen activists. We want to thank all those that collaborated on this effort. The park, located by Little Platte South Trailhead, is beautiful and we will continue adding amenities for both human and canine visitors.
