#ClosetMoment: Barrett, a 2nd Grader North Kansas City Schools Chapel Hill elementary is proving "No Matter What Your Age.....You Can Make A Difference"! This amazing young man turned his class project of "How To Be An Active Citizen in Your Community" into action by enlisting family, his school, and the social media community to donate ties and other work attire to help homeless adults get jobs to help lift them out of poverty. Clay County Clothes Closet has been mentoring students on the importance of community volunteerism for 61 years, and we are excited to be a part of this young man's journey!

Thanks to your generous and loyal support Northland Community, this year’s virtual au...ction was a big success, "RAISING OVER $5,500 in support of CCCC’s Clothing Families Empowering Lives Clothing Resource Program!" Event proceeds will assist in providing a sustainable wardrobe for at-risk children and their families served by the program, helping to remove barriers and allowing them the opportunity to create their own successes in school and the workforce. In addition to CCCC's Virtual Auction event participants, we’d also like to recognize and thank CCCC’S BUSINESS PARTNERS AND SPONSORS who donated auction items and/or services, provided event underwriting support and helped promote the event. Still some great items auction items r...emaining along with 50/50 Raffle Tickets and the "Fund-A-Need" for children's winter coats. AUCTION REMAINS OPEN ON SATURDAY, 10-10-20 until 4:00 PM. AUCTION ITEM PICK-UP is at ST. JAMES LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1104 NE Vivion Rd., Kansas City, MO on Saturday, 10-10-20 between 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. This will be a drive-up event. After check-in with a CCCC Volunteer Team Member, your items will brought to a designated "Pick-up Zone".
