RIVER REGION SPORTS Wednesday, January 20, 2021 IN BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL:... STE. GENEVIEVE -- Ste. Genevieve got a pair of wins over visiting De Soto last night. The varsity won 74-39. The junior varsity won 51-29. The freshmen lost 46-39. The freshmen Dragons play at Grandview Thursday at 4:30. The freshmen, junior varsity and varsity Dragons play at St. Vincent Tuesday at 5 p.m. PERRYVILLE -- St. Vincent beat visiting Leopold 68-57. The Indians led 15-9 after one, led 34-25 at the half and 55-42 after three. St. Vincent was outscored 15-13 in the fourth quarter for the final margin. John Wibbenmeyer led the Indians with 27 points. Evan DeWilde was also in double figures with 19. With the win, St. Vincent improves to 11-3 on the season. The Indians have a make up game tonight with the freshmen, junior varsity and varsity at Jefferson. The St. Vincent junior varsity also won last night beating the Leopold JV 62-20. Grant Abernathy had 19 points to lead the JV Indians. Blake Moonier had 10. The junior varsity improves to 9-2 on the season. PERRYVILLE -- Perryville lost to visiting Windsor 51-48.
