Our Civil Giving committee continues to focus on the needs of our communities. Throughout October, donations were made to Effingham Preschool for All and Down Syndrome of Louisville. Recognizing the need to support mental wellness and veterans at this time, contributions were made to the NAMI and Kentucky Wounded Heroes, Inc.

Our Effingham team took some time to make the streets more beautiful through Pick it Up, Effingham, a local litter abatement program. It's amazing what a little team effort and an hour of time can do to directly impact the community. This is just another example of how our team strives to build stronger communities!

Though our celebration looked a little different this year, we still had a great time at our annual Chili Cook-Off on Friday. Our service lines competed in our first-ever virtual trivia session it's exciting to discover fresh new ways to have fun and stay connected!

Our Effingham office has been hard at work on a Subsurface Utility Engineering project along a 1.5-mile section of IL 161 in Centralia, IL. Our survey team located over 91,000 linear feet of underground utilities, and obtained pipe type, size, and invert measurements for just over 400 drainage and sewer structures. A big shout out to the survey team!

Today was a "Talk About It Tuesday" at CDI, a virtual lunchtime session where our team members meet to discuss any challenges or adjustments that have arisen as a result of the pandemic.
