PUBLIC NOTICE: The City of West Plains will hold a virtual public hearing at 9:30 am on Wednesday 12/9/2020. The hearing will be held virtually via FreeConferenceCall.com to discuss the past performance by the City of West Plains in the Greater Ozarks Center for Advanced Technology (GOCAT), MO-53863 Delta Regional Authority Project. All interested citizens and groups are encouraged to attend the virtual hearing. On our last day of thankfulness, we cannot forget our very own Mallory!! You all know her as the lady with all the city info, but to us, she is our go-to person for everything!! In Mallory’s role as City Clerk/Public Relations Director, she is responsible for City Council meeting agendas, minutes, preparation of ordinances and resolutions, and the custodian of records for the City. She also handles media releases, Facebook, and Instagram accounts (except this post, HA!). We are thankful for Mallory, and her behind the scenes work that keeps the City going!!!!

Meet Tommie! Tommie is the Accountant for the City. She’s been part of our team for several years now but in this role for almost a year. We are thankful for the hard work she has put in this year to learn her new role. It has been a huge task to learn this job and during a pandemic has not made it easy. Tommie is funny and loves to share a smile and laugh with others. She’s a dedicated employee who we are thrilled to have! Tommie, thank you for your hard work! We appreciate you so much!!

Say hi to Kellie! Kellie is our Payroll and Benefits Specialist. Let’s just say, we are all THANKFUL for Kellie! She’s the reason we get paid every two weeks! Kellie is relatively new to the job, however this position seems to fit her very well. Kellie is extremely kind, always greets you with a smile, so helpful, and enjoys conversing with co-workers. We are so thankful to have Kellie in this position. She is a ray of sunshine and she gives us the best gift every two weeks ! Kellie, thank you for being a wonderful employee! We appreciate you so much!

Meet Paula! Paula is one of our many faithful Police Department Dispatchers. She works during the day and answers all the calls for service or general questions. Paula has been with the City for many years. Paula is a very hard worker who takes her job seriously. She stays busy at her work station, but always had the time to give a friendly hello and a smile if you walk by. We are thankful for the hard work you do, Paula! Thank you so much for being a wonderful employee who serves the citizens of West Plains very well! We appreciate you!
