As an update to the robbery which took place on the parking lot of the Town & Country Schnuck’s at 12pm on Sunday, September 13, 2020; the investigation conduct...ed by Town & Country Police Department resulted in the identity and arrest of Carlos Murrieta, 18 years old, of Ferguson, Missouri (pictured below). On Thursday, October 8, 2020 the facts of the case were presented to the St. Louis County Prosecutor’s Office, and Murrieta was charged with the following: Robbery 2nd Degree (Class B Felony) Five (5) counts of Stealing (Class D Felony) Bond has been set at $100,000 cash only.

At approximately noon today, a purse snatching occurred in the parking lot of Schnucks in Woods Mill Plaza causing injury to the victim. The suspect is a white... male driving an unknown vehicle. Burnett (45 years of age) Overland, Missouri. The charges include: 1-count: Violation of Order of Protection (Class A misdemeanor) 1-count: Resisting Arrest by Fleeing (Class E felony) 1-count: Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Physical Injury (Class E felony) Bond has been set at $50,000.00, 10% allowed. Burnett will be remanded to St. Louis County Justice Center intake.

**MOTORIST AWARENESS MESSAGE** On Tuesday, July 21st at 8:20am TCPD Officers, West Co EMS & Fire, and MoDOT Traffic Assist units responded to 2 separate multi-v...ehicle traffic crashes occurring in the area of eastbound 64/40 near the Ballas Rd. exit. During the course of the investigation, the emergency vehicles were nearly struck numerous times by motorists not adhering to the State of Missouri’s Move Over law. This law mandates motorists to change lanes away from the emergency vehicles (Police, Fire, EMS, Tow, MoDOT) on a multi-lane highway when they can SAFELY do so and if drivers can’t change lanes safely, they MUST slow down while maintaining a safe speed so as not to impede other traffic. Please help keep our First Responders safe!!

**CLAYTON ROAD LANE RESTRICTIONS** During last night’s storm, lightning struck a utility pole on the north side of Clayton Rd., just east of Mason Ridge. Town ...& Country Police Department immediately notified Ameren and deployed traffic cones and police tape. The positioning of the pole is causing a temporary lane closure in this area.
