Due to the drastic increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the ENTIRE region, the Platte County Board of Trustees has updated the Emergency Order. View the order ...in its entirety here. https://www.plattecountyhealthdept.com/emergency.aspx Several new requirements in the latest order are: 1) All venues serving food & drink indoors must operate at 50% capacity or less and must close at 10:00 PM with exception of drive-thru service, curbside pickup, and delivery of food may continue after 10:00 PM. 2) All indoor gatherings are limited to 10 people such as concerts, conferences, and celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, and funerals. Plans must be submitted for all gatherings of over 10 people to be approved by the health department. PLEASE NOTE: The Platte County Health Department will not require mitigation plans to be submitted for family gatherings in a person's home. However, homeowners are expected to help our community's efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 by limiting the size of gatherings and complying with the intent of the Order by following these basic mitigation measures: o Ages 5 and up should wear masks. o Everyone who lives in different households should sit at separate tables, at least 6 feet apart. o Hand washing and hand sanitizer should be provided. Now more than ever it is vital to remain vigilant in our pursuit to slow the spread and not overwhelm our area hospitals. Remember: HANDS, FACE, SPACE. Wash your Hands, cover your Face, and keep at least 6 feet of Space between you.
