With Covid, it is hard to plan an event. Any ideas on this? I have a few but want to hear from you. Its.a real virus that has taken some of our own...so please, everyone, take it seriously and protect yourselves. My thoughts??? A fishing tourney this spring to raise funds for the levee. Spent a little time with Kalab Long today in the field. Decided to make this video.

Tomorrow is my last day as city clerk for Craig. It hasn't hit me yet...i have met the entire town and made good friends with 98 to 99% of residents including rural and other...its gonna be hard on me when it does hit me. But...i won't be far away. I am a phone call away. A message away...an email... i want each and every one of u to know that in my time as clerk, I was ur friend (best friend at times) a confident, an ear...i like to joke and say therapist for free...lo...l...but i won't really say therapist, bc there were many many times we would visit and get on a topic and I'd wind up opening my own heart on stuff. So thank you Craig, for listening to me too! I wasnt a perfect clerk. Not by far. I was self taught as the clerk before me quit and I had no training. So Bonnie Long, everything im teaching u is stuff I taught to myself. The board has tried assisting me and done amazing. The mayor, she has been my absolute rock thru my time with Craig. Rhonda Hunziger, U have been my rock and my 2nd mother most of my life. Diana Jones u have been amazing helping me and rhonda. I want the entire board Jim Mccallan, u have also been amazing and really helped me...bruce ideker. .u all have had a hand. Walter Pat Groves...u taught me so much when I first started. So many ppl have taught me. What it boils down to...being a clerk for a small town means being a friend or just being nice. There were many times I had to say...ok, we cannot help u...but im still here when ur in a better place. Ill do what i can. Im not giving up on u... im the local "PD" at times..(I once assisted in a gal from a snake in her home). Im sure the Holt County Cops are annoyed at me from time to time...i called them often. Lol. So sorry but not...bc Craig is my family. Anytime I seen someone doing something criminal or acting suspicious, Holt County heard from me. I've chased ppl out before! (That's not true if that's illegal). Lol...anyways, ill still be around. Still fighting for Craig on the Levee Committee. Ill still be helping the Levee Committee organize stuff for us for the Levee. Not to mention I'll maybe visit u in person bc i miss ur face!!! So if u get a knock on ur door, it is not me selling anything! Lol. Love u Craig. Forever.
