The position of City Clerk is to plan, organize and direct all activities associated with the office. Should possess knowledge of municipal government. Essential job functions include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budget, work with State and City Auditors, oversees preparation of meeting agendas and information, attend all Board m...eetings, Planning and Zoning Board meetings, Board of Adjustments meetings, prepares and oversees ordinances and resolutions, oversee all official City records, City tax collector, coordinates all municipal elections with County election authority, administers oaths to elected and appointed officials, handles all HR issues, coordinates legal issues with attorneys, must be willing to travel, oversees aquatic center, safety policies. Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm On Call 24/7 Pay will be based on experience, employer paid life insurance after 30 days, employer paid retirement after 90 days, Flexible Spending account of $450.00 given after 60 days to help with medical expenses, health insurance or childcare. Position includes paid holidays, vacation and sick time and overtime. Applications may be picked up at City Hall and will be taken until the job is filled.
