The winner of the Wynna Faye Elbert Outstanding CARE Trainee Award from CARE job coach Mark Bremer’s caseload is Ciara Carter, who was placed at CoMo Smoke and Fire. According to Mark, I chose Ciara as the winner of this award because she was consistently someone who overcame struggles, learned from mistakes, and took everything thrown at her in stride. I chose her for this award because the resilience and perseverance that she showed is necessary in this world. Her strength under pressure not only makes her an exceptional employee/trainee, but is telling of her success in whatever endeavors she chooses to pursue.
