Paint your own wedding Part 2 Like this one you could SO do with your new spouse! ... Totally! But how? Well first, are you getting my emails cuz I'm breaking it all down there. DM it to me, how bout now. I'm only doing 5
Paint your own wedding. Part 1 Because I was booked and couldn't be there for you. ... Because you love your wedding painting so much and would love to try your hand at it. But yeah, where to start... Because your budget ran out before you knew about the live painting even as a thing. Because you're out of ideas for date night. Because Valentine's Day is coming + any of the above. Who's painting your wedding? Why not YOU!? @ashleyicephotos
Last night at the Missouri Athletic Club shone bright. The stunning Maddie and her forever Bradley sealed the deal with loved ones and live music and libations flowing. It. Was. GORGEOUS. Thank you for having me, and I wish you both the VERY BEST forever possible. ... A little further into the painting. I find a groove, time flies. With every job, I push past a mental thing (self-doubt, frustration, anxiousness, tension) and find my best progress is made when I let go. ... Your celebration is such a beautiful organic thing. There’s no way I could paint it how I think it *shoild* be. Because how it truly unfolds as the night goes on is always wayyyy way better (and more lively, and hysterical, and emotion-filled and memorable for a million reasons) than I could ever anticipate. Early in the process. The people are coming. Oh that cute little kid... that dress that just swooshed by! The couple is on their way!!!! Did I get the cake in there yet?!... This was one I had to slow down on. I was off to a good start, I thought. Then I felt like the party was taking off and leaving me behind, all the things in my head all at once - what to paint next, oh there’s another head with no body, dang it I got her hair style wrong.... Stop. Breathe. Look up, Cindy. APPRECIATE this very single second and the beauty right in front of me. Yes there’s chaos. And no doubt some stressors getting everyone to this point. But oh the beauty, the lighting, the laughter and stories shared. Super deliberate and extra long dip back into my palette, noticing the feel of the paint spreading smooth on the canvas, seeing how that color totally works, feeling that expressive line that just happened. The vibe is translating and I’m back on track. Knowing Who holds me in those moments, trusting those gifts bestowed in me, resting in the present and not giving a second thought to the end result before I need to. Who’s painting your wedding?

Part 1 of ____ Why you your wedding painting (or not)
Giving Tuesday Gifts= talents, money, tangible item to celebrate, service, time, sacrifice, surprise, thoughtfulness, providing for someone who maybe can’t provide for themselves. Hosting my Painted event in February this year was a gift to those instrumental in my business and personal growth, former bosses, my dearest family and close friends, vendor buddies I’ve put on a pedestal, and gracious clients were there. ... And I had MUCH to celebrate and even more to be grateful for. Intended to give you a night of celebration ended up being a huge gift to me Giving as a business in the past few years for me has looked like painting at fundraising events for the highest bid, donating prints, teaching paint parties for $ to be donated, volunteering craft time and teaching for the patients and families at the children’s hospital. And the occasional job swapped with another local business for their offerings. I’d never believe my efforts would ripple out and generate tens of thousands of dollars to help those in need that I’ll never meet in person. I’m more aware of micro everything now... micro weddings, micro holiday celebrations, and am giving to smaller groups/couples/individuals/businesses who’s lives and family routines have been flipped inside out. I hope to provide hope, a meal or two, a gift for a kiddo or a few who’s Christmas is gonna likely look pretty different. It’s because of you and your continued trust in me and my gifts that this is possible. Even and especially in this challenging year.
