If you are new to homeschooling, or if you are considering it, Kim Quon, the Region 5 Director for FHE (Families for Home Education, the largest and oldest support group in the state of Missouri) has been hosting Zoom calls all summer. We encourage you to participate in a call because they are so helpful at giving you all the facts up front in one place, and to answer your many questions! Several free zoom meetings (statewide) have been scheduled for July and August. All mee...tings are the same, just different dates/times. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Please send an email to Kim Quon at [email protected] with the date you would like to join us and an email will be sent back to you with the zoom id and password. Please note that July 21 & 30 are both full. New Dates and Times: Monday, July 27 @ 2pm (new time added) Monday, Aug 3 @ 7 pm Thursday, Aug 6 @ 7 pm Tuesday, Aug 11 @ 2 pm We will cover the MO homeschool law, withdrawal, record keeping, tracking hours, lesson planning, organization, learning styles, and more. In addition, an information packet will also be sent with the registration email covering many basics along with a large grid of curriculum options for all grades and core subjects. --
