Today is Sister Sandra Lucas 80th Birthday and Christ Our Redeemer would like to wish her the best of best on this day. She is so deserving of this honor she’s such a hard worker in the church. She serves on the Steward Board, Finance Committee, and the Stewardess board. She has such a sweet disposition, that has a way of rubbing off on those around her. Sister Lucas is loved by us all. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! For he has truly been good to me!!! Happy Monday! When I look back on my life and see where God has brought me from it makes me want to shout. I want to share with you the devotional I read this morning that opened my eyes. It Reads: It wasn’t so long ago that you were mired in that old stagnant life of sin. You let the world, which doesn’t know the first thing about living, tell you how to live. You filled your lungs with polluted un...belief, and then exhaled disobedience. We all did it, all of us doing what we felt like doing, when we felt like doing it, all of us in the same boat. It’s a wonder God didn’t lose his temper and do away with the whole lot of us. Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah. Ephesians 2:1-6 MSG Yes, I am a Minister today, but I have not always been in this place. I use too be out in the world, until I gave my life to Jesus. My walk, in life is not the same and I thank God for the change. The world is still polluting your lungs with unbelief. Infinity in a Jar It was morning. The teacher came to my room holding a little clay jar. "A question," he said. "Can that which is little contain that which is big?" "No," I answered. "Can that which is finite encompass that which is infinite?"... "No," I said again. "But it can," he replied. "How?" He lifted the jar and removed the cap from its top. "It can," he said. "it can if it's an open vessel. A closed vessel can never contain anything larger than its own size. But an open vessel has no limitations. It now can contain the blowing of the wind or the outpouring of the rain. It could even contain the flowing of a rive." "It would take a long time to contain a river." "It could take forever, but the principle is the same." "And the reason you're showing me this..." "Which is larger, that which you know or that which you don't know?" "That which I don't know, I would think." "So then, it's only wise that you seek that which you don't know." "I guess." "But how do you contain that which is bigger than you ... that which is bigger than your ability to comprehend?" "By becoming an open vessel," I said. "Yes," said the teacher. "Only by opening yourself up can you come to know that which you don't already know. And only by becoming an open vessel can you contain that which is greater than yourself. The truth is always greater than our knowing. Your mind and heart are finite clay jars. But the truth has no end. God has no end. The Eternal is infinite ... always flowing." "Like the river," I said. "Yes," he said, "but when the jar opens itself, it becomes unlimited. It can contain the waters of the river ... So open now your mind, your heart, and your life. For it is only the open vessel and an open heart that can contain the infinity of God." Karla Dorsey would like to take this time to say thank you to all who supported her in the Queen Contest on last Sunday. She was crowned second place, and we know that she is truly a Queen in God's Royal Family. Again she says Thank you!

Christ Our Redeemer would like to share what God is doing for His people during this pandemic: What God has done for Me, during COVID-19 Crisis Mary Owens:... God has blessed me, my family and friend’s day and night, and keeping us out of harms way. Every step I take I say thank you God. Because I can’t go through this pandemic crisis without you in my life leading the way. It is not the big things in my life that counts. I must stop complaining about things one can’t control. Because it is people in the world that are worse off than me. I give all the honor, glory, and praise to my Heavenly Father. Because all my family, friends and neighbors has been good to me during this crisis. I have not had to purchase much of anything, unless it is something that I really want for inside and outside of the home. I say: do not judge a man by the color of his skin but by the content of his character. I am thankful that God have allowed Christ Our Redeemer members to stay in touch with each other. Let us continue to strength our relationship via computer, telephone, and cards or whatever it takes. Let us share information about religion, as we laugh and cry together and pray for one another. Let us not forget how good God is. Through my walk with God, my faith has improved, I am not where I use to be, but I thank God I am not what I use to be. God have always been in my life, from the beginning to the present. Leaving a small country town and arriving in the big city without experience. God put his arm around me and protected me. I’ve gone through valleys, mountains, and peaks, yet I never lost my faith. I always have faith that God will provide, he may not come on my time, but when he thinks the time is right for me. And not always coming with the answer you want to hear. But be patient and wait on Him. I will say that my faith is growing stronger every day as I spend time with Him on a regular schedule. By meditation, prayer, reading my bible, television lectures, Christian music, bible verse that are sent to me via email from COR members. Wile going through this Pandemic it is making me stronger. I am learning how to trust in God. And not on my own understanding. In all my ways I shall acknowledge him. He shall direct my path. (Proverbs 3: 5-6).

Will you join me starting September first in a FAST? If you are like me, you have been in front of your TV since the George Floyd killing and the Corona virus outbreak. We know that the world has been turned upside down. There is so much upheaval in the world today that we need to stop, fast, and pray. I know God must be shaking his head at the people he created to take care of the world. In the book of Genesis chapter, one starting at verse 26: And God said, Let us make man ...in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. In case you don’t know what you are here for you need to read the word of God. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. To rule over something is to have absolute authority and control over it. God has ultimate rule over the earth, and he exercises his authority with loving care. When God delegated some of his authority to humans, he expected us to take responsibility for the environment and the other creatures that share the planet. Not one race over the other, not to kill your brother or sister of another color, but to love each other from another mother. He planted a garden for us to live in and gave us everything we would need; yet we were not satisfied. And look at what we have become, we are becoming more like animals fighting over our territory, cold blooded killing of one another. God is saying enough is enough and we as the children of God we need to arm ourselves for war. If we the children of God is not in the fight the battle will not be won. I know that God can do it all by himself, but he is waiting on us to rise with him and say enough is enough. The only way this will go away, and the only way we are going to win this battle with God leading, is by fasting and praying. If we want the Killing, Racial Violence, Corona Virus, Corrupt government, etc. to go away we need to fast and pray. Will you fast with me on September 1st through the 21st there is a need in the world today for peace. Yes, you and I can make the difference, will you join me Tuesday September first and begin praying and fasting for peace and unity in a torn world, whose constitution says: that all men are created equal! Fresh Touch Do you need a fresh touch from God in your life right now? If you are struggling or if you are going through a hard place, I’m telling you, if you will practice and literally DO what I’m going to share with you, you WILL receive a fresh touch from Him! Are you ready? Do you want a fresh touch? Listen, I understand what might be going through your mind: Yeah but I’m so focused on this and that; I’m so beaten down and depressed. There doesn’t seem to be any way o...ut of my problem. Not sure anyone can help. If that is you, there’s a simple cure IF you will do it: That’s the key by the way; you have to do your part. Right now, lift your hands up to the Lord and say, God, I cast ALL my cares; all my hurt and pain; and every struggle I have onto you. I receive your grace; I receive your mercy that’s new every morning; and I receive a fresh touch from You God. The hard part is for you to get out of the way and actually DO what you need to do to get your fresh touch! Quit fretting and worrying! Quit allowing yourself to be stirred up and full of anxiety and anger. Stop allowing all the things and pressures of life to pull you down! Instead, Cast it off in Jesus Name! The Bible tells us to cast all our cares onto Him (1 peter 5:7) Another version says, Cast all your anxiety on Him Give that stuff to Him! He’s much better at handling it than you are anyway! Now Receive the absolute grace; the unmerited favor of God! Receive His mercy that washes you clean and brand new. RECEIVE right now that fresh touch of His anointing. It’s all done by faith. Worshiping Him when you least feel like it is done by faith! Everything you receive from God is done by faith! Get used to receiving by faith! Listen friend I get that you don’t feel like it; but that’s when you need to do it most. It’s easy to worship God when you are feeling great. It’s harder when you are not. It’s when you do it anyway that you begin to receive the very refreshing from God that you need and are crying out for. If you are ready for that refreshing touch from Him, close your eyes and lift your hands to Heaven. Let this be your prayer: Lord, I receive. I receive from Heaven. I receive a fresh touch of your anointing; a fresh touch of your presence. Lord, I declare in the Name of Jesus, everything is going to be alright. I’m going to trust you! Now begin to worship Him. If you need to, put some worship music on that will help you even more. Remember, this will only work if you do your part. God will do His but you have to do yours as well. Receive your healing miracle. Receive the answer to your prayer. Receive direction. As a matter of fact, if you are struggling over an issue, lay it at the altar lay it at the foot of the cross. As you do, thank Him and say, Lord, I receive direction from your presence. Remember, it’s all by faith. So whether you understand it intellectually or not, just receive it. Amen
