Flu vaccine prevents millions of illnesses and flu-related doctor’s visits each year. Because of the potential to spread flu viruses and the virus that causes COVID-19 this fall and winter, we need to do everything we can to lower the risk of having two major respiratory virus outbreaks at the same time. We will be offering drive-up flu shots at no cost for those 4 years and older, Nov. 10-12, at several locations. For a complete schedule visit childrensmercy.org/flu.
Graham, Graham, he’s our man! You may have heard our good friend Graham Zusi suffered a season-ending injury and surgery. Our patients have a special message for him:
We have many gastroenterology experts who help care for children with a wide range of conditions. We asked Kelly why she loves working at Children's Mercy:
Thanks to Building Hope for Autism for donating iPads to patients with autism whom our team has identified as children who would benefit from home use of this technology! #ThankfulThursday #TogetherLoveWill
