I've had a lot of parents calling or texting me asking if we will be closing daycare. We have no plans on closing we as a whole understand that we have many parents who still need reliable childcare and we have every intention on staying put for the long haul. With that said we do have to follow state rules and regulations so if they choose to close down daycare centers then will have to do as they say. * A few way we are keeping daycare as safe as possible. As always we ar...e sensitizing through out the day as well as encouraging extra handwashing and are sending children home at the first sign of sickness. Teachers will not come to work if they show sign of sickness. * A few ways we are helping the school kiddos while they're out of school. I will be making a schedule for our school teachers to follow during the day as well as printing off some of the learning materials the school sent out. Starting next week our school kids will have an hour in the morning and afternoon where they will work on school materials. They will also be reading for 20mins and keeping a reading log. If the school does an online type of class during the time they're closed we will also trying to incorporate that. *Ways you are parents can help. Please keep your child home if they show any sign of sickness. Please keep them out until you're sure they're healthy. Please remind your child to wash their hands often as well as covering their coughs. Please let us know if your child will not be at daycare that day. This week let's have some fun with a Cat in the Hat spirit week. Monday- The Foot Book- wear silly, mismatched socks Tuesday- One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish- wear red or blue shirt... Wednesday- Wacky Wednesday- wear mismatched clothes Thursday- The Cat in the Hat- wear a crazy hat Friday- I'm Not Get Up Today- wear your favorite pajamas

Children's Playhouse and Learning Center in Harrisonville has 1 spot in our Nursery room due to children aging up. We would love for you to visit us, look around and meet our teachers. We are a center based learning program that welcomes state pay families and we participate in the Missouri food program. We provide breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. We are a dedicated center eager to meet new families and reach out to our community.
