Getting colder and winter is around the corner. Next week I will be half way with my treatments but I keep move around, we are all ready working in next year opening as long as my heath is good. We are pushing for some exciting news on Chicago Ron’s for next year and hope by February we can let it out if all goes well. So keep an eye on our page.

It’s a lot of work to get ready but it worth it to see all of the good people having fun and enjoying them selfs. We had a great time, but it goes by so quickly. Thank you all for the well wishes and stopping by to see us.

Hillbilly fair is rocking if your not here you are going to miss it, our food is fly out the window, this is the year for Italian Beef and Gyros. Probably will sell out of both soon. Thank you to all of our supporters come by get a Chicago Dog.

Thanks for coming out on Friday and seeing us, Susie and Vince it was great to see you and thank you for your support. Remember today Saturday parade starts at 10 am and the hillbilly fair is rocking. Be shout out to the crew of the fair they work hard.

Well getting closer hillbilly fair September 11-12 we have been getting ready to have a great time. Come see us

So far August has been a long month, trying to get Chicago Ron’s ready to open for the fair. But we are getting closer been doing some changes, sneeze guards on the windows and cleaning. We will be ready to serve you, please come out and see us. Barbie and her crew has been working hard to put it together so all can have fun and safe.

Hillbilly Fair looks like it’s on schedule September 11-12 going to have a lot of fun carnival, parade, music, beer garden, and of course Chicago Ron’s home of the authentic Chicago style Hot Dog, Polish, Brats, Gyros, Italian Beefs and more so come out and support the hillbilly fair.

Hello all I’ve been in contact with Hillbilly Fair 2020 and as of today the fair is still on. We will be there to serve you our great Chicago sandwiches. Any changes we will post that information.

To all my followers, Hillbilly Fair goers, customers I would like to start and thank you on supporting the hillbilly fair and my family, my family has been serving food at the fair I think over 20 plus years. We have been bring you Chicago fast food like the famous Chicago Hot Dog, Italian beef, of course our famous gyros and other sandwiches. As some of you my have known in 2018 I wasn’t at the fair I was fighting stage four head and neck cancer. In 2019 I was in remissio...n and returned to the fair and had a great time with all our great customers. November came around and I was diagnosed with stage three lung cancer. I have finished my radiation and first round of chemo treatments but had to take two extra chemo treatments and I’m done with all my treatments at this time. I did get sick and lost some of my hair, I have to wait to have testing done to see if treatments were effective. I’m not looking for any pity it’s just that I would like to let my customers know what’s going on and to tell you I’m not sure what is the next venture with Chicago Rons will be until I get tested to see what my future will be. I’m hopeful and planing that my family and I will be at the fair for 2020 to see all of you. Again thank you. Ron Anselmo and Family
