Chesterfield Police Department

On 12/27/20 at approximately 1:29 am, two subjects forced entry into 49 Chesterfield Mall, Macy’s Department store and stole a large amount of merchandise. Officers responded quickly to the burglar alarm, but the subjects were gone upon their arrival. If you have any information, please contact us at 636-537-3000.

Since November, Officers have been allowed to grow a beard if they paid a donation of $75 to St Jude Children's Hospital. Whatever money we collected, our friends at Window World St. Louis pledged to match. Stay tuned for a grand total! A Couple of observations regarding the whole beard thing: 1) We've had one officer mistaken for Uncle Jesse from Dukes of Hazzard, one officer mistaken for the Duck Dynasty guy, and one humble Facebook Administrator mistaken (multiple times)... for David Beckham, Chris Hemsworth and Hugh Jackman. 2) We are so excited to be doing this for a great cause - St Jude Children's Hospital! We are attempting to identify the subject in the video. He took a holiday gift meant for the sanitation workers on Benton Taylor. This subject is believed to have taken gifts from at least 3 different residences in the Baxter Point subdivision this morning. If you have any information please contact us at 636-537-3000. NOTE - If you wish to give a gift to your sanitation worker, please consider handing it to them personally or sending it to their headquarters.

The community support in our city has always been wonderful and yesterday was no exception. We would like to thank Satchmo’s restaurant who graciously came by the station and dropped off lunch for our Officers on Sunday.

We would like to congratulate Chesterfield Police Officer Ryan Broeker on his retirement from the Missouri National Guard. During his 22 years of military service, Officer Broeker achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class. His Mission Occupational Specialty was Combat Engineer where he served as both a bridge crewman and heavy equipment operator. He eventually became an instructor in these categories and helped train many soldiers throughout the years. SFC Broeker served 1 deployment in Iraq 2004 -2005, and several other mobilizations throughout his career. We are very proud of SFC Broeker and his service to this country.

The Chesterfield Police Department, in coordination with Ballwin PD, Ellisville PD, Manchester PD and Town and Country PD, urges residents to lock their vehicles, secure their valuables and never leave keys or fobs in their vehicles. If we all work together, we can prevent vehicle theft in our cities. Always remember: Lock It or Lose It!

Next time you talk to one of our Officers, you may notice some facial hair behind the mask. Don’t worry, they are probably just participating in No-Shave November. This year, Officers can pay $50 to grow their beard out for the entire month with all proceeds to be donated to St Jude Children’s Hospital. As an added bonus, Window World of St Louis has graciously offered to match whatever is collected from the Department! Thank you Window World!! We are very excited to announce we have extended our "No-Shave November" to include "No-Shave December"! For an additional minimum donation of $25, Officers can continue to grow their chin hair for another month. Best of all, Window World of St Louis has graciously agreed to continue to match these donations - Which means MORE money for St. Jude Children's Hospital!!! We can't wait to see what the final total is!

It's election day. Take a break for a second and enjoy photos of some really cute miniature horses who visited Chesterfield Elementary School yesterday. We've been told they will NOT be visiting any furniture stores in the near future ( like some other 4-legged animal we know )

So a Deer walks into a furniture store Obviously knowledgeable in home decor, the Buck decided against the Urban Modern selections and went with the Mid-Century Modern instead. Excellent choice. ***Note, the Buck was herded out of the back door unharmed***

It's so nice to see everyone's big beautiful smiles in this photo! Thank you to the St Louis Police Supporters United group for dropping off a couple of baskets of candy for the Officers. We're not talking Necco Wafers and circus peanuts. We're talking the good stuff!
