Childcare is back! Childcare services reopen Monday, Nov. 2, at Springfield-Greene County Park Board Family Centers. Coming up in less than 2 weeks! Swim in the Doling Family Center's indoor pool full of pumpkins and pick out the perfect one! Then take home a decorating kit with paints and stickers to decorate your pumpkin. For ages 2-14 years. FEE: $10/Family Center Member or $20/Non-member. Includes one pumpkin, one take-home decorating kit per participant and one pool pass to use at Doling or Chesterfield Aquatic Center in the future. REGISTER by Oct. 15 online at bit.ly/3mCTONT... IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, all Park Board Family Centers will require temperature checks before individuals are allowed to use the facility, as part of an ongoing effort to prevent spread of COVID-19. Chesterfield, Dan Kinney and Doling Family Center staff will be stationed immediately inside the entrance use a no-contact forehead thermometer to check for fever before individuals including adults, youth, staff, instructors, maintenance workers and ve...ndors may use the facility. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be admitted and may not re-enter the facility for 24 hours. Anyone experiencing symptoms of illness are asked to please stay home. As we continue to navigate the changing world around us, we remain 100-percent committed to making our parks and recreation services as safe as possible, said Bob Belote, Parks Director.
