Jay Cardy Racing Update: Hello Saturday night we were back at the Motorplex after being rained out last weekend. 20 cars were on hand for what was round three of the BGC Pro Dirt Series. We got an 8th a 5th in our heats which gave us a 15th place starting spot for the feature. We had some damage to the RF in a first lap incident but that didn’t stop us moving forward as the feature went on. By the halfway point we were up to 9th and with 10 to go we got into 6th. We just coul...dn’t bridge the gap to crack the top 5 and with a rough track and damage on the RF we didn’t handle the bumps like we normally do. But a 6th place is good, made some ground in the points and move on to the next round. The rained out meeting has been moved to the 30th of January so that is good that we haven’t lost a meeting. Unfortunately the National Title at Warrnambool has been put back to next year because of the covid issues, so it looks like we will be staying in WA this summer. We have a weekend off before we are back at the Motorplex for Round four the following weekend. Jay Cardy Racing Update: After what seemed like a long winter we kicked off our season on Saturday night at Ellenbrook Speedway. With 17 cars nominated we started the heats with a 6th and a 2nd which gave us a 7th place starting spot in the feature. We started well early in the feature race, moving forward a couple of positions but slowly slipped back as the race went on. We ended up 10th in the end and not really the result we were looking for, but will step it up when we ar...e back at the Motorplex for round two in a couple of weeks. We did a lot of work over the winter and are trying some different parts and Integra Shock and King Spring combinations. We have a couple of Wednesday night test sessions between now and the next round, which is good to do some testing to try a few things out so we can really get the car tuned up ready for round two.
