A little humor and some Haydn from our Friends the Doric String Quartet, appearing on the series with Benjamin Grosvenor in January. #Musictotherescue #stringquartet #lockdownconcert
This #throwbackthursday, we're saluting pianist Benjamin Grosvenor and Bach Collegium Japan for winning Gramophone Classical Music Awards! We plan to see Benjamin in January with the Doric String Quartet performing the Elgar Quintet in A minor and the Faure Piano Quintet No. 1 in D Minor. Bravo to both groups!
For your #MusicMonday, enjoy a small taste of Chopin performed by Garrick Ohlsson celebrating his monumental win at the International Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition, becoming the first American to win the prestigious competition. Garrick will be performing several works by Chopin on his solo recital in February at the The Folly Theater. Visit our website to learn more!
