Unfortunately, strong winds blew over much of our light and figure set up and we simply do not have the manpower to get it set back up in time for 5pm Vieux Noel event. We will, however, continue with the following events for today: - 2-3pm: FREE Dennis Stroughmatt concert at the Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church, located at 49 DuBourge Place in Downtown Ste. Genevieve. - 5-6pm: FREE Guignolee performance by Dennis Stroughmatt at the Bolduc House, located at 125 S. Main Street. Dennis will perform the song multiple times during the hour to accommodate guests as they come through. Complimentary cookies and cocoa will be provided

For those who do not wish to attend the Dennis Stroughmatt: The French Creole Story of Missouri performance at the Ste Genevieve Catholic Parish, we have arranged for the Ste. Genevieve Community Access Television channel to record the performance and upload it to their youtube page. We will then share it on this facebook page, so keep your eyes peeled after 12/31!

As there is heavy rain in the forecast for tomorrow night, we have decided to cancel the Vieux Noel - A French Colonial Light & Nativity Walk for Fri 12/11 at the Hands On History at the Linden House. We will again host this event on Fri 12/18 from 5-8pm and on Thu 12/31 from 5-6pm, with live performances of the historic Guignolee song by Creole Musician Dennis Stroughmatt. As a feeble attempt to a make this up for anyone who will be in town, we will have the Centre open from 5-8pm tomorrow night - come visit with us!
