October Games Results Howdy Pards! We had 11 folks come out and enjoy a good day of aroma therapy as we filled Windy Ridge with the last gun smoke of our 2020 Season. Yours truly had the top score, and no one posted a clean match due to some dastardly stage writing.... September HTS Games Results Howdy Pards! This past Sunday, 13 trail hardened cowpokes got together for our annual Hanging Tree Shootout, and enjoyed fantastic weather, good food and fellowship. Top shooter during the main match (after correcting some scores) was Kan Do Ken, and there were NO clean matches recorded.... COWS MAY MATCH INFO! Howdy Pards! We hope you and yours have been keeping well and sane during the recent goings on. ... The COWS brain trust (and yes, I'm using that phrase loosely) have, after careful consideration, decided to have our May match on 17 May, with safety meeting starting at 9:45 a.m. The match will be a "Bandito" match, which simply means that participants can, and are encouraged to, wear breathing masks of their choosing, whether modern medical masks or your own bandana concoction. We'll also have hand sanitizer available as always. So, wipe down yer irons, make sure you've got ammo loaded, and plan to join us on Sunday, May 17th with match beginning at 9:45 with our safety meeting. 'Til then, Blessings to ya! ATTENTION... SASS CAS Rule Change: Per Misty from the TG Wire Forum: The proposed rule change has passed and will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2020. The new versio...n of the Shooters Handbook and RO Course Materials will be updated to reflect the change and be available January 2020. Rule change: Eliminate the automatic Stage DQ penalty for leaving the loading table with a cocked rifle. In such instances, the shooter will be directed to point the rifle safely into the back berm, bring the hammer to full cock if it is in the half-cock/safety position, then pull the trigger. If no round is fired, the shooter will be directed to finish staging firearms in order to start the stage (No Call). If a round fires when the shooter pulls the trigger, the shooter will be assessed a Stage DQ and directed to proceed to the unloading table PASSED by vote of the Territorial Governors. YES - 208 (75.3%) NO -- 68 (24.6%)

Well, we had 9 intrepid shooters come out yesterday to brave the fog, the morning chill, and the intimidating competition to get in our last match of the 2019 season.
