Hey parents, are you looking for a safe environment for your kiddos to learn discipline, respect, and bullying prevention while having fun?! Center of Defensive Arts is the place you’ve been looking for. Not only will your child learn core values, but they’ll also build confidence through instruction. We have decided to expand our youth program to now include our Mighty Mites program for children, ages 3-5, on Saturdays mornings. We also have a class for ages 6-12 on Thursd...ays. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we are officially cancelling the Small Circle Jujitsu Invitational scheduled in October. We waited as long as we could to make this announcement, in hopes that things would turn around, but at this time it would not be prudent to proceed.

Hi Everyone, We have been holding off for as long as we deemed possible but, in all good conscience, we have to cancel the Small Circle Jujitsu seminar scheduled for May 9th here in St. Louis because of Covid-19. This is very disappointing, but we think it’s best for all guests. At this point, Professor Jay doesn’t even know if he’ll be able to fly in from England. We want to thank everyone for your support of the seminar over the last few years and making it a premier St. L...ouis martial arts event. We will plan on next year in May, as usual. We will be refunding attendance fees to those who have already paid. In the meantime, we will be putting all our efforts into St. Louis’ first annual Small Circle Jujitsu Invitational coming in October. I will be launching all the details for that event very soon. It is with a heavy heart that I have to make this announcement. As of today, Center of Defensive Arts is closed for now. Franklin County is shutting down all gyms, hair salons, massage studios, and golf courses. We fall into the gym category. In addition, we can no longer do private or semi-private classes because of the 6 foot social distancing rule. Hopefully we can make it back to normal soon. I appreciate your support.
