Job Responsibilities: These are roving positions and require reliable transportation as you will be going from site to site throughout the day. Have a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general maintenance Arrive at appointed time ready to perform tasks outlined Fill out work order in a detailed manner including time spent on each job and a specific description of work using Appfolio app on phone... Take direction from the dispatch manager on all work orders Report any maintenance issues seen on any property that needs attention Take initiative to walk properties when on-site and pick up any trash or debris and deposit them in dumpster Have a working knowledge of painting, priming and general drywall /plaster/texture repair Communicate with maintenance manager with regards to any maintenance issues and action taken to repair Track hours worked and be able to provide outline of when you worked and where Wear Celtic or Bolt apparel and be presentable at all times -- No ripped or torn jeans or shorts Qualifications and abilities: Experience or working knowledge of HVAC is preferred Must possess strong attention to detail Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills Competence in operation of any tools of the trade and ability to supply your own hand tools that apply to apartment maintenance Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Neat, clean, professional at all times throughout the workday Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the employee handbook Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem Successfully pass drug test if required Employment Requirements: Attendance is an imperative job function Employees must fulfill the performance standards of this position and comply with policies, rules and procedures of the company, including those set out in the Employee Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or writing) to employees All employees are expected to be at work on time Successfully pass drug test if required If your position requires additional pre-employment criteria, such as driver’s examination, a background investigation and/or pre-employment drug test, and if you have been offered employment before any such investigation or test is completed, your employment is contingent upon a satisfactory result on all required tests Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday On call Typical start time: 8AM Typical end time: 5PM Company's website: www.celticproperties.net Work Remotely: No See more
