4 YEARS AGO, ST LOUIS JOINED FORCES IN A SUCCESSFUL CIVIC CAMPAIGN TO RETAIN & EXPAND THE NGA HQ IN THE CITY The #LETSSTAYNGA tag line brings back fond memories from the successful civic campaign 4 years ago to retain and expand the 3,100-employee National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in the City of St. Louis, where it and its predecessor institutions have be located for nearly 70 years. This past November, NGA officials broke ground on their $1.75-billion, 1 m...illion square foot NGA/West HQ on a 100-acre new campus at the heart of the 1,500-acre NorthSide Regeneration Mixed-Use Development, just north of Downtown.
