Ugly sweater decorating! With a little shape recognition and counting thrown in, too

We did a little science experiment during our study of the color red this week. Everyone was challenged to find one item in the classroom that was red. And that item had to be able to stick to contact paper. Some items stuck very well, and we discovered some were too heavy, or even the wrong shape for staying stuck to the contact paper on the wall, and they had to go find something else to try! Pretty cool!

Prepare for Halloween party photo-overload! We had a BLAST this morning, we partied all the way till lunch time! A huge thank you to all the families that donated prizes and candy. Our daycare parents are the BEST!

Just some miscellaneous pictures from our adventures this week

Did you know that 1 bat can eat up to 500 mosquitoes in 1 hour? For this activity we are glueing our mosquitoes and our 1 bat to a night sky background, and when it’s dry we are going to count how many mosquitoes each child’s bat is eating!
