ATTENTION Flag Football Families...

Cass County Junior Athletic Association 31.10.2020

Attention CCJAA Parents: Last night the CCJAA Board held an emergency meeting to discuss the growing concerns of the coronavirus threat to our community. Without a doubt our number one goal is to protect the kids and families who make up our CCJAA family. Our board has assessed the situation and determined with recent school closings, and local and national recommendations. At this time we have decided to suspend all practices until Saturday, March 21st. ... This suspension will run during the Spring Break period which we feel is a great opportunity understand what safety thing we can put in place moving forward. Although we feel the threat is low, it is also true that we have no idea of the impact it will have on our community. I will continue to closely monitor things and share next steps as we learn more. We are fortunate to have a local Health Professional on our board who is very much connected to the emergency preparedness team in our community. We thank you for understanding our caution but we remain optimistic we will be able to resume all activities very soon. Your head coaches have been notified and will likely follow up with confirmation of the suspension period. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with additional questions.
