Dry Shampoo Tips #1 Not waiting for it to absorb. Wait a few minutes before brushing or styling for the product to absorb the oil. #2 Only using it on second day hair.... You can also use it right after shampooing. It keeps your hair looking fresh and clean longer and adds volume too. (Side note: I always do this!) #3 Spraying it to close to your hair. Hold it at least 6 inches away from hair to even distribute and avoid a chalky mess. Also use a swooping motion while spraying. #4 Using it to much or to often. This is a hard one! But it will collect on the scalp which is not good for the follicles to breathe. And to much or to often causes hair to look dull and have a rough texture. Helpful Tip: Always shake can before use. Continuing Education Alert Advanced education is extremely impirtant to us. We LOVE going to the hair show. It gives us the "up and coming", new techniques, and a fresh take on all things hair. Well here we are...Show season has come and gone for 2020 and although we didn't travel to the show it doesnt mean they didn't figure out how to bring the show to us! It looks a bit different but we are still keeping up with the newest and the best!

"HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WAS MY HAIR?" This is a question we are always asked in the salon. Its an interesting question and the answer can depend on specific needs of the salon guests hair. However, washing everyday is to much. It promotes oil production, is drying to hair, and can be very hard on your color. Washing your hair strips the hair of it natural oils. Doing so to often actually makes your natural oil glands over produce oils. As result you have visibly oily hair, daily.... IMPORTANT HAIR WASHING TIPS: *Use the correct, salon quality shampoo and conditioner for your specific hair needs. (Note spending a little more of salon quality products pays off because you can use a lot less of it per wash and get a better result). *Use shampoo on scalp and roots with a good scrub *Use conditioner on mid strands to ends (where moisture is needed). Never on roots! * When trying to add days in between washes, start slow. Add just one day for a week, and then add another day the next and so on. Also try having your hair up or wearing a hat to get through that last day. After a few (what seems like terrible) weeks you will have retrained your hair and can now go 3 to 4 days without washing. *Find a dry shampoo you can use to get you through the "oily" days. Feel free to comment any questions you may have!

Changing your hair for Fall , doesn't just mean adding dark. For this balayaged beauty is was adding subtle pastel pink throughout.
