Hello Friends! Caring for Kids is so grateful for your partnership and support as we strive to inspire hope in Kansas City children through school partnerships. We are excited to announce our fundraiser is back with a twist - we are going virtual! The virtual Heart of a Champion Gala is May 20, 2021, and we would like to invite you to join us. This year our theme is Continuing the Mission and Vision. Together, with so many partners, Caring for Kids Network has accomplishe...d great things. We invite you to journey with us as we celebrate the impact partners are making in our community through the power of storytelling. Award-winning, peer-nominated community leaders will be featured that evening expressing joys, challenges, and collaborative success from the perspective of every sector in healthy school partnerships representing school, faith, business and civic/nonprofit leaders. During our event, we desire to highlight and honor some of our amazing community partners and principals. Is your partnership led by a dynamic and strategic principal? Is your school liaison instrumental in supporting your school partnership? Have you served alongside a faith leader who displays exemplary acts of servitude? Are you aware of a civic or nonprof...it leader who is living out their mission through collaborative partnerships? Please consider nominating one or more outstanding leaders for our first ever Heart of a Champion Awards. Nominations must be received by March 30 for consideration.
