April marks the first day of child abuse prevention month. Last year an estimated 678,000 children were victims of abuse across the country. CAPSTJOE is dedicated to preventing child abuse in our communities. Programs and services like Head Start, Skill Up, and LIHEAP help families and reduce the stress low-incomes face. If you see something, say something. Together we can make sure our kids have healthy, happy childhoods.

The federal eviction moratorium has been extended through June 30th and CAP has funds to help those whose income has been affected by the pandemic. Our Plattsburg Head Start Center will also be closed on Wednesday, 2/17.

EHS services at La Petite will be closed on Wednesday, 2/17 due to a malfunctioning heater. At this point our St. Joseph Head Start Centers and our Savannah Head Start Center will be closed on 2/17 as well. Updates regarding closures will be posted on Facebook as they occur.
