Join Cathy as she demonstrates this month's Take & Make craft, then come and pick up a free kit to try it out yourself! (While supplies last; first come, first served.) Scandinavian (or Danish) woven hearts are a traditional winter craft. While we don’t know their exact origins, the oldest example we have was made by author Hans Christian Anderson in 1860. They’re often filled with candy or cookies and hung as decorations. For this month’s adult take and make we’ll be making our own with colorful paper. Each kit contains instructions for both simple and more complex versions.
