Session two of Camp Xtreme Esteem in Alabama is now 3 days old and these kids are really beginning to take some personal accountability. I apologize for being tardy with this blog and the forthcoming pictures and video, my technology skills caught up to me. Out total focus has been on eliminating the I CAN'T from our vocabulary. You can, it is just a bit difficult at this time but I CAN. The second facet of this mentality is to stop making excuses , I am responsible for my ...own actions. If it is to be it is up to me, if I give the effort and make good choices, good things will happen in my life. I tell the kids "if you have to think about whether a decision is right or wrong it is probably wrong." From a training standpoint we are just now finding our potential, it is far too easy to take the path of least resistance. I want to know how you are going to perfrom when no one is watching. Be a man of your word and finish what you start. We had our first training session with the great people at Auburn Martial Arts today and Mr. Andy and Mr. Randall sure brought the heat. On a 1 to 10 this training was sure a 9, and the beautiful thing is our kids really left it all in the gym. Our nightly gathering at the fire pit for S'mores has been very erratic, we have had tons of rain and it is raining right now so probably not tonite. We will be back in our gym tomorrow and then another session at Auburn MMA on Thursday. There are some very determined young men who are working to "make a difference." Coach Levy I CAN'T QUIT
