NOW HIRING! Grain Department Coordinator CAMERON COOP ELEVATOR ASSOCIATION located at 102 S. Walnut in Cameron, MO seeks a full time employee to coordinate the Grain Department of Cameron COOP.... General Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Overseeing the Weigh Scale house Grain ticket entry Grain flow management Grain equipment/facilities maintenance and upkeep Managing / monitoring grain condition Maintaining a clean and sanitary plant Supervision of employees during harvest Working with various truck drivers on inbound and outbound grain logistics A MUCH MORE DETAILED LIST will be provided to applicants upon request Past experience in grain handling and working around a grain elevator is certainly preferred but not required. Class A or B CDL is not required but encouraged as well. Applicants must exhibit a strong work ethic, attention to detail, self-motivation and a willingness to adapt and learn new tasks. This position is expected to help out in other departments outside of grain (feed, fertilizer, etc.) outside of harvest when grain is slow. This full-time position reports directly to the General Manager. Work hours are generally 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday as well as Saturday’s 8-Noon (every other Saturday during the winter and summer months). Workers will be expected to work outside of those hours in our busy months (mostly spring and fall) with many overtime opportunities. This position will need to be willing to work 60+ hours a week during harvest and will be compensated with overtime pay. Salary is dependent on experience.
