Camdenton Fire Rescue 28.11.2020

Today (Tuesday, December 1) about noon will be the scheduled monthly City of Camdenton storm siren test. The storm sirens may sound more than once during this ...test. The next monthly City of Camdenton storm siren test is scheduled for Tuesday, January 5 at noon (weather pending). Reminder: Storm sirens are an outdoor warning system designed only to alert those who are outside that something dangerous is approaching. For weather alerts indoors, every home and business should have a NOAA Weather Radio All-Hazards. NOAA Weather Radio is like a smoke detector for severe weather, and it can wake you up when a warning is issued for your area so you can take appropriate action. 'Tis the season. As you begin to decorate for the holidays, please stay safe and water your trees daily! This video shows just how quickly a dried out Christmas tree fire burns, with flashover occurring in less than one minute, as compared to a well-watered tree, which burns at a much slower rate.
